Michael Lockamy selected by the Florida Bar President's Pro Bono Service Award

Congratulations to Bedell Firm director Michael Lockamy, who was recently awarded The Florida Bar President’s Pro Bono Service Award for the 4th Judicial Circuit. He also volunteered to help represent a defendant who was entitled to be resentenced after a new ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court.

Beyond these efforts, Michael gives back to his community in a variety of ways. He has previously served on the City Council President’s Task Force on Open Government. He has served as chair of the Fourth Circuit Grievance Committee. And, he is a co-founder of the Ribault High School Future Lawyers mentorship program.

A graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Michael joined the Bedell Firm in 2009. He has a diverse legal practice with experience litigating business disputes, professional malpractice, personal injury, employment discrimination and family law.
