Bedell was proud to attend and support the 2026 Jax Bar Law Day Luncheon hosted by the Jacksonville Bar Association and the D.W. Perkins Bar Association on May 7 at The River Club in Jacksonville. The annual event brought together members of the legal community to recognize the importance of the rule of law and celebrate excellence in the profession.
This year’s keynote speaker was Barry Richard, a nationally recognized trial and appellate attorney known for his work in constitutional, commercial, and government litigation, including his role as lead counsel in Florida’s litigation effort during the 2000 presidential election recount.
The luncheon also included the presentation of the Jacksonville Bar Association’s Liberty Bell Award to Leon Jackson and the Jacksonville Daily Record’s Lawyer of the Year Award to Daniel Nunn, Jr., recognizing outstanding service to the legal profession and the broader community.
Bedell has a longstanding history of active involvement in professional and community organizations throughout Northeast Florida. Our attorneys continue to support and participate in organizations, including The Florida Bar, the Jacksonville Bar Association, the D.W. Perkins Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association.
