We are proud to announce that Bedell Director and attorney Brian Coughlin has been sworn in as the new President of the Jacksonville Bar Association (JBA) Board of Governors. His term begins this summer, marking the culmination of years of service and leadership within the organization.
Brian has served on the JBA Board of Governors since 2017 and previously held the role of President-Elect. Throughout his tenure on the Board, he has made meaningful contributions to the legal community through education, outreach, and service. His commitment to the profession and the Northeast Florida community reflects the core values of the JBA and our firm.

Brian is a graduate of the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law and joined Bedell in 2007. He is a former chair of The Florida Bar Professional Ethics Committee and actively participates in several civic and legal organizations across the region.
