Sarah Byres received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, where she was the principal violinist in the UF orchestra. She graduated cum laude from the University of Florida in 2020 with a degree in Criminology. A Jacksonville native, she has been working in law firms since high school. She received her J.D. from the University of Kentucky, J. David Rosenberg College of Law, in 2023, with honors. While in law school, Sarah received CALI Awards in Family Law and Evidence. She began her career as a family law attorney in Lexington, Kentucky, representing clients in divorce, child custody, domestic violence, and post-decree matters. Sarah joined Bedell in May 2025. In her free time, Sarah enjoys traveling, playing the violin, and spending quality time with her family, especially with her black lab, Beau.
