Erica L. Cruzat joined the Bedell Firm in August of 2003. As a valued member of the criminal litigation team for 15 years, Erica has assisted our criminal defense attorneys in a number of high-profile cases, and her unflagging dedication and attention to detail have been invaluable in securing positive outcomes for many of our clients.
Erica earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Alabama’s Troy University in 2003, where she graduated summa cum laude. Erica joined the Bedell Law Firm upon her graduation and has been a dedicated member of our criminal litigation team since.
Erica is a Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) as well as a Florida Notary Public. She’s a member of the Northeast Florida Paralegal Association, the National Association of Legal Assistants, and serves as president of the First Coast Chapter of the Paralegal Association of Florida.
As part of the criminal litigation team, Erica has assisted Bedell’s attorneys with complex and high-profile cases involving professional athletes, public officials, attorneys, doctors, and other professionals. Because even the accusation of criminal conduct can have significant personal and professional consequences, the Bedell Firm does not deem it appropriate to identify its former clients but has fought hard to obtain positive results for each criminal defendant it represents.
Assisting with matters ranging from minor misdemeanors to serious felonies, Erica provides invaluable staff support and investigative services to ensure each client receives appropriate representation.
