C. WARREN TRIPP, JR. received his law degree, as well as his undergraduate degree, from the University of Florida. He received his B.A., with high honors, and went on to receive his J.D., with honors, where he was appointed to the Order of the Coif, and, as an undergraduate, elected to Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honorary fraternities. When he was in law school, he was one of two students chosen to participate in an experimental program providing law clerks to circuit judges of the state courts of Florida and was employed by the Center of Governmental Responsibility, where he performed research and writing responsibilities. Since his association with the Bedell firm in 1975, he has participated in the trials and appeals of many complex commercial litigation cases, including construction, environmental, governmental contracts, and commercial cases. Mr. Tripp has lectured on, as well as co-authored several articles about construction litigation, one of his one area of focus, including, "Rights and Liabilities of the Owner," Florida Construction Law and Practice (The Florida Bar, 2d ed. 1993). He is currently a member of The Florida Bar, the American Bar Association (member, Forum Committee on the Construction Industry), the Federal Bar Association, the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Federal Claims and the Federal Circuit Court of Appeal. Additionally, he is a panel member of the American Arbitration Association, and an arbitrator and mediator for the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida. Mr. Tripp focuses on construction arbitration and litigation, and other complex cases involving products liability, government contract disputes, business torts, commercial contracts and agreements, land use, inverse condemnation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants.
